Winter hit, it's going below 30 and the heaters make it really warm. Winter weather brings friends together? Psh, no. Cold weather makes some people cold hearted. I'm tired of having to put up with them dramatic girls.
So, which one of me do you know? Do you know Lorena, the girl that doesn't mess with anyone, the depressed one? Do you know Me, Ruth, who's been here all along. Do you know Superchick, the over confident basketball player or do you know Souljagirl, who drives forward with full force? All of me won't put up with your drama, so please stop. I'm trying to make my Freshman year beautiful. So ruin it for yourself without ruining mine. By the way...freshman year. I know my way around, I only been picked on the upper classmen only once, pretty funny. My grades are Cs and up, my lowest grade in pre Algebra. You know what? I'm actually enjoying it. I made new friends, I talk a lot more, I eat lunch with various groups who of course, acept me for who I am and not what they hear. It's pretty simple to lie low and be chill.
I miss Summer though. I miss smelling like horses and being covered in dirt and loping through Rocken' D Ranche's feilds and watching the horses.I miss the smell of saddle oil and watching Special Needs children's faces light up when they ride the horses. Please summer, come soon.

SCHOOL AND DRAMA
"The bratty, snobby middle schoolers need to grow up and learn that the world does not revolve around them. They just use the words to insult us when it's true about them. They think they're all that. You can do better then wear make-up, dye your hair, and date the hottest guy in school. You can be nice, start a decent life, and be a nice person."
School---High school is awesome. I thought it would be hard, but not really. The homework is easy, the classes are easy. I even know where all my classes are! I thought high school would be intimidating at first, I was really scared.
I love it!
Drama-----But now I have to put up with the 8th graders thinking "Oh I can pick on them, and i won't see them til next year." That's not cool.
"Well i dont give a crap RUTH! i really dont care u dont know what the fuck i am talking abt! and ur just plain anyyoing!" is what June said to me, because I was there for a friend in a time of need. June isn't the best person to hang out with. She does all sorts of bad things. She's jealous of me, because I'm cool, calm, sweet, nice, and hardheaded and fearless when I need to be. I'm all in all a good person. I love being me.
Those words that she used to describe me, she was describing herself and as I was reading it, I started laughing so hard I was crying. I love it when kids try to be a Punk. It's so cute!
I just don't understand why she would hate me if I'm a good person. I know I am. I carry it like a knight carries a sword. You can see it. I stand tall and almost nobody picks on me, except for her and her friend Kaily. I'll get this all sorted out.
Job-----I've also got a job. I start September 2nd, at 4 pm after school. I'm working at Birch Brother's Pizza and it's awesome! I'm friends with the whole family, and I love them.
Horses----Courtney is having me ride bareback to work on my seating, and won't put me in the saddle til I get it right. Maggie has a soft back, and so tall! I wouldn't relax until the lesson was almost over. Bareback Posting is so hard! I miss that english saddle so very much!
Boys----- Nothing much to say, I'm just getting annoyed with being checked out. Taylor is so nice! He's just a cool calm person, but I won't date him...not unless I'm sure. Jacob, I just met today. He's so cool!

1) Stopped at the Caribou Restraunt and asked if they served fries...right after Jeremiah asked for fries. I need to learn how to listen.
Saturday June 18th 2011:
1) Felicia and I were at H20 oasis and there's this mote thing that circles the swimming pool and there's inner-tubes. I tried to jump into one to lay down in it; you know, let your bottom relax into the hole, your head lolling on one side of the tube, and your feet/legs dangling out the other. I tried to jump onto it from the side and ending up getting a dunking, and the inner-tube flipped on top of me.
2)Laying down on Felicia's bed and Toby (the tabby cat) jump up and scared the heck out of me and I thought that it was Felicia. >.<
3)Walking to Village Inn with Sue, Felicia and Carlita. Phone vibrated and it was really loud. Started singing "Off to see the Wizard" with Felicia and Sue. Not such a good idea in flip flops. Almost face planted.

1)Driving home. Just left Anchorage and Felicia and I take turns poking Sue saying "Poke, Bother, Annoy".
2) 40 miles out of Anchorage. Felicia: "Are we there yet?" Me: "How many more miles?" Felicia: "How many more minutes?" Me: "Are we getting closer? I need to pee." (Note: we were just doing this to annoy Sue.)
3) Sue was telling Felicia how much Giddeon (her black dog) likes me. He would cuddle with me and shove his nose between my legs and start sniffen' (Get your nose outta there, young man!). At one point, he actually tried to hump my leg. Felicia and I laughed, saying that I had another boyfriend.
4) Just passed Glenallen, Felicia pointed out a horse crossing sign. I was nomming animal crackers. I looked into the bag and pulled out a horse shaped cracker and made it look like it was crossing the road. Laughed so hard I cried. Felicia: "I love you Ruth." Me: (sounding emotional) "I love you too!"
5) Stood outside in the rain while Sue and Felicia were in a store. Couldn't find the car so i walk in and find Sue and Felicia. >.< I was soaked.

1) At 12:00 am, right when we reached Delta I started saying "No place like home, no place like home."
2) 5 miles out of Delta I woke up with drool on my pillow. Either that or Felicia or Sue put water there to play a prank on me. Meanies.
3) At home now, I got out of the car and put my stuff in my room and went straight to the computer and facebook. Typical me.

1) Texted Felicia. Go over an hour later and start laughing about the car ride home.
2) Later that night, we set up an air mattress and while trying to sleep, she took the blankets and I wrapped one around myself and roll over. Ends up falling off the bed with a thunk and the blanket. I climb back up and Felicia innocently asks Patrick for his number.
3) Patrick gives the OK and Felicia has his number.

2) At the Lunch Buffet, Felicia is trying to finish her ice cream and says that I have to hurry up and help her finish her ice cream. I cross my arms and shake my head and mumble "Nu uh." So she tries to give me a spoonful of Ice Cream and it goes all over my chin. I open my mouth and laugh and she shoves the spoon in and I laugh harder. Ice cream runs out of my mouth. I end having to go to the bathroom because it was so darn funny.
3)It was Tony's birthday. The bugger turned 16. I forgot it was his birthday, but did I care? I don't think so.

1) Felicia and I hang up the hammock and get in. The second we get in, the clip breaks and I land on my rear, laughing so hard I have to run to the bathroom.
2) In the hammock with Felicia and Rachelle, Rachelle keeps touching my breasts and then I have to explain to her that they are "Private Parts" and shouldn't be touched by others. She's only 5. It was still annoying.
3) Felicia's ride comes to pick her up for Chugnak and five minutes after she leaves, I say that I miss her already. Sue looks at me like I'm crazy.
I had fun being with Sue and Felicia. ♥

Here I am.
I'm fifteen now. My birthday was on June 10th, and it was an awful day. My nine year old brother Pepe got shotgun (front seat of the car) and he's too young! Mom let him get away with being there and being a brat to me, and accused me of being mean and bratty. I was only trying to be nice! Then mom got mad at me for something I didn't do, when it was Pepe who was cussing and yelling when I was trying to teach him something.
I knew turning fifteen wasn't going to be fun. Then mom made me do the laundry because she thought I was being lazy when I was clearly talking to my dad (They hate each other and I don't like that) so what do you think I did? I got mad because it's been a while since I talked to my daddy. She then accused me of being disrespectful to her. So? I have my flaws, but that's no reason to be mean.
I'm hoping to join the Deltana Fair's talent show. I'm hoping to memorize "I will" by Jeff Slaughter or "By Faith" by the same person. I love those songs!!!
I'm pulling a prank but I can't help but feel somewhat guilty about it. My friend Felicia is coming up to Delta from Anchorage, and I'm going with Sue to pick her up. I told her I was busy this weekend, June 17-19, and that I couldn't go with Sue to pick her up. I'm going to be busy, yes, going to Anchorage. Felicia will freak out!!! I'm going to surprise her. Her face will be priceless.
Sondra and Jimmy hooked me up with a friend, and Patrick is a dear. He's handsome with black hair, a roundish face and dark chocolate brown eyes, almost black. He's nice and sweet and he and I are more alike than it seems. We both like the color gray, we're both faithful, we're both kind of shy, and we're nice.
Life seems to be looking up, for a moment. I guess that I have a crush, oh, I haven't had one in who knows how long!! It's so strange. I feel happy when I'm with him, and I'm able to be me around him.
VBS is over, it went through June 6-10, and I did music. I was singing and dancing and just having a blast. Whoops, I gotta go. I'll update later! ♥

Horses! Horses, Horses everywhere!
Tanana District 4-H Horse Camp, HERE I COME!!!! It's a 90% chance that I can go. Courtney has a free space reserved, because she's a leader. I don't even have to pay! Emmie, Hailey, maybe Ashley, and I will go. I'm going to have the time of my life! Courtney got a new gelding. His name is Hondo. He's a chestnut brown with white socks. He's the kind of horse for more experienced riders. We found out Ginger's real age...she's 30 something. =( So I might be riding Hondo. =) I kinda can't wait. She's starting a program where disabled kids can ride. We've been working with Hondo, Storm, Ginger and Ellie. Ellie is scared of loud noises, so we had to take extra time to get her used to people stomping up and down ramps, being laid on, having balls thrown at them. poor Ellie, we accidentally hit her between the eyes. The girl jerked her head up and almost hit Danny with the ball. Courtney, Carol, Danny, Hailey and I got a good laugh at it. I thought Ellie was a little like me, throwing basketballs. Like rider, like horse, I guess. It was much fun, and I got much needed exercise.
Hailey and I got to go on a trail ride after all that work. We talked about 4-H, which I hope to be joining soon. I'm just kind of sore. Hailey tried to teach me to post, which I found out I was messing up on because i was using my knees, and not my inner thighs. When you use your inner thighs to post, it's so much more comfortable.
I won't be able to ride Ginger in the 4-H play day games. I'm really hoping to ride Hondo. Ashley might ride Maggie. Maggie's not my type of horse, she's tall, fast, and scares me. I like shorter horses. Mk, I have got to go, I'll update when I get the chance!

And you've got me on my toes...
SUMMER'S HERE!!! Whoohoo! This calls for ice cream from the Drive In...you've probably heard of it. Wonderful ice cream, the best burgers and the second best in town. I've already gotten a bit of a tan...thanks to spaghetti straps and laying in the sun for about an hour. It snowed two weeks ago, but it's all gone now, except up in the glaciers.
Courtney started us riding on Thursday, but I couldn't go, because of teen drama and a very serious situation. (No details) but I had to talk to a cop about it. No worries, I will be riding this Tuesday, and that should be fun. I don't know which horsey Courtney is going to let me ride, but I sure hope that it's Maggie or Ginger. We're going to start jumping and I'm hoping to adjust to the english saddle and improve my leg grip... my family has a history of bad knees and backs but I'm not going to let that stop me. Physical pain is NOT an issue while on a horse!!!
Anyway, spring is here, and tree tops are turning green, and I already rescued a caterpillar! He was in a burnt log and his hind legs were burnt off, poor guy. I took him out of his nook with little pliers and set him on the dirt and gave him a few leaves to snack on. I left him there to walk to the library and park and I came home around 4 'o' clock pm, the caterpillar was gone. I'm happy for him, if he wasn't eaten by a bird or trampled on by a much bigger creature then he. I decided to name the lil critter "Brandon". It suited him just fine.
My mom too is enjoying the fresh air and sunlight, but she stays inside a majority of the time, going outside only when I want her to and when she needs to- errands, store, mail....etc. Oh! I finally busted my little brother. We had finally been hanging out with Malie and Jowayne (our neighbors) and had to go inside at nine. Anyway, I was in my room braiding my hair and getting ready for bed, when I went to Jimmy and Pepe's room. I looked at the TV screen and asked Jimmy, "Where's Pepe?". Jimmy looked over to Pepe's bed and looked around. "Must have climbed out the window."
So, I went outside and sure enough, there was Pepe hanging out with Malie and Jowayne when he should have been in bed! I called to him at least 3 times before he looked at me, and he wouldn't listen so I went and got mom and Steven, and oh! It was awesome! He got busted for being out past curfew AND climbing out the window! Don't get me wrong, I'm not hellbent on getting my little brother in trouble, but it was wrong, what he was doing. I bet he'll do it over and over again, before Steven duct tapes the window shut.
My lil brother has a tendency to ruin my "perfect" days. Mom didn't want any of us going into the store after her and Pepe and Taylor followed her in when I clearly told them NOT to. Pepe and Taylor got caught and the first thing out of Pepe's mouth? "Ruth told me to." Mom, being oblivious to her youngest son's lies, believed him and I was chastised because of it. Had me down in the dumps, but I got my revenge (as explained above). Pepe, he could write a book on how to ruin someone's perfect day, and I always turn out to be the victim.
School ends tomorrow (it should have ended 2 days ago, but we had cold days) so I'm kinda sad about it. Tomorrow would be the last day I walk through Fort Greely Middle School's doors and next year, it's a different age and a different set of doors. I'm just kind of sad, but kind of happy too. I wore a yellow shirt today, and people called me "Sunshine" or "Yellow". Hannah thought it was cute to call me "Banana". I thought it was kind of annoying, but kind of cute, since I barely wear yellow.
I french braided Megan's hair and she was totally spazzed about it. I'm not that great of a braider, but, OK.
I look forward to wearing my riding boots again, and being on a horse's back, enjoying the sound of the hoofbeats and the rush of the wind. I miss being one with the horse.

Catch Up
As I posted in one of my previous posts, spring has arrived. I have never seen my mom like this...allergies are annoying her. The sun feels nice, the snow in the driveway is gone, and there is a HUGE puddle out front. It has rained at least 5 times now, and I like walking around in that. I loathe Tony now... one month ago we broke up and he's being such a meanie, posting rude comments on my profile, cussing me out, and the worst thing he's ever done to me, yesterday I was wanting to talk to him, and he got on his dirtbike, glared at me and revved the engine and I had to jump out of the way before he hit me. I think he loathes me because he told me to move on and I tried, by dating Alex, and now he's mad at me for that, so I have the title "B***h" in his opinion. I know I'm not, he knows I'm not, so he also hates it when he's wrong. I am not too happy with him at all. Guys just give me trouble. I'm thinking of deleting my Facebook profile to create a new one, but then I'd lose all my photos and notes and information. I just don't want Tony contacting me because of his attitude and anger. I honestly got to get better friends!
I have caught a common cold, and I don't like it one bit. It might be because I play outside alot, rain or shine, and stay out kinda late, so that may be how I caught it. I don't like the runny nose OR the stuffy ears. Mainly the headaches I don't like. I loathe sniffling because for A) it's annoying B) it makes the headaches worse C) blowing my nose is better.
Easter went well, despite the fact that I couldn't find the last egg that mom hid.
